Discover Her Story
Faith Massey is a policy researcher and community organizer with a passion for dismantling systemic inequities that disproportionately affect the Black community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in quantitative research methods from American University, where she will be honored with the President's Award at her upcoming graduation ceremony.
Faith is the recipient of two prestigious honors: the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship — a $25,000 scholarship paired with a $10,000 public service grant — and the Faith and Politics John Lewis Scholars program, a bipartisan initiative that educates participants on nonviolent civil rights history and activism in honor of Congressman John Lewis's legacy.
Her research applies data-driven analysis, leveraging applied statistics and data science to examine the real-world impacts of policy. She has pursued advanced study at the Harvard Kennedy School and Georgetown University, and has conducted health policy research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
A former Congressional Black Caucus Foundation intern, Faith has served in the offices of Representative Terri Sewell (AL-07) and Senator Amy Klobuchar (MN-D), focusing on health and education policy. She aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in social policy and is currently seeking full-time roles in research and policy analysis.
